Job summary

rcs construction is seeking a Project Manager to join our team based in our Bedford office, Nova Scotia. You will lead construction initiatives, manage scope, schedule and budget, and foster strong client and subcontractor relationships to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities include contract negotiations, subcontractor coordination, and driving the project schedule using MS Project, with a focus on quality and on-time completion for site activities.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in construction management or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ project management experience with a General Contractor.
• Strong negotiation, time management, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Jonas management and Procore software experience would be considered an asset.
• Gold Seal certification would be considered an asset.

• Select trade subcontractors and plan, schedule and co-ordinate their activities.
• Manage project budgets and submit monthly progress billings.

• Ensure projects are built to drawing specifications and the timely completion of all site activities.
• Communicate regularly with Site Managers and all stakeholders.
• Provide leadership to labour force to ensure timely completion of all activities and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain positive relations with clients, consultants, architects and subcontractors.
