Job Title : Project Manager and Scrum Master

Job Location : Montreal (day 1 onboarding onsite / in-office presence required 3x / week)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead our Agile teams in delivering high-quality projects. The successful candidate will possess excellent project management and Scrum Master skills, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.

As a Project Manager :

• Closely interact with management and clients to understand the squad mission and scope
• Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation plans, and project schedules
• Manage scope changes in the project & perform impact analysis on the timelines
• Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and product management to ensure project deliverables are met
• Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and senior management

As a Scrum Master :

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
• Ensure the stories ready for closure meet the definition of done and comply with acceptance criteria
• Coach and mentor team members in Agile principles and practices, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and identify opportunities for process improvements

Required skills :

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Relevant 5+ years' experience as Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Tech Lead
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
• Demonstrated ability to partner and liaise between business users and a technical development team
• Able to garner respect from their team and offer solutions by getting into the details
• Ability to proactively manage change in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans
• Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications
• Strong knowledge of project management tools, including Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines

Desired skills :

• Certification in Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring
