About the role

The Project Manager is responsible for orchestrating the successful delivery of projects by effectively managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations. This role requires the integration of strategic planning and tactical execution to ensure that projects align with the company's objectives and deliver measurable value. The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring that all project goals are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.

What you'll do

  • Allocate and manage resources, including team members, budget, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and productivity. Ensure that resources are adjusted as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion. Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on track.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders. Facilitate regular updates and meetings to ensure alignment and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Regularly review and update risk management plans as the project progresses.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to guarantee high-quality outcomes.
  • Monitor project expenses and ensure that the project remains within budget. Prepare financial reports and forecasts to provide transparency and support decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and evaluations. Ensure that all project records are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing lessons learned from previous projects. Identify areas for enhancement and develop strategies to improve future project outcomes.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project), and a good understanding of business processes and IT systems.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry including the specific technical knowledge or regulatory standards.
