Job summary

Pack-Smart Inc. is a global leader in high-speed automation for packaging, print, and converting industries, based in Concord, Ontario. We seek a Project Manager to lead automation projects from start to finish, coordinating with customers and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

• Diploma or degree in mechanical/electro-mechanical discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience in automation, packaging equipment, or related environments.
• Strong written and oral communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute project deadlines, contractual requirements, scope of work, and equipment delivery.
• Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) by executing test plans, securing sign-off, and generating FAT reports.
• Drive critical success factors with stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery within scope, time, and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and service departments to manage capacity and milestones.
• Identify issues that impede progress and implement corrective actions or escalate as needed.
• Communicate project progress clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Title: Project Manager – Lead and Deliver World Class Automation Projects

We’re looking for a driven Project Manager to lead the successful execution of automation projects from start to finish. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our customers and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer expectations. Leveraging your organizational and leadership skills, you’ll manage scope, schedule, and resources while fostering collaboration across departments. Some international travel is required, meeting with industry leaders!

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 CAD

• Manage and execute project deadlines, contractual requirements, scope of work, and equipment delivery.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience in automation, packaging equipment, or custom machine building environments.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects while effectively prioritizing tasks.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English.
• Proven track record of improving performance, meeting commitments, and achieving results.
• Ability to travel internationally when required.
