Job summary

StackTeck Systems Limited is seeking a Program Manager to lead technical sales, customer relationship management and project management for custom automated machinery. You will interact with customers, Sales and Operations to deliver and manage orders, promote company values and ensure great customer experiences.

The role involves bilingual English/Spanish communication, collaboration with engineering and supply chain, and travel to customer sites and trade shows.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a Program/Project/Customer Service B2B environment – preference for systems integration, industrial automation or industrial automated cells.
  • Post-secondary education – college or university in Mechatronics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Proven knowledge of mechatronics, industrial automation, and control systems.
  • Proficient with SolidWorks software.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software, including Gantt charts and master scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Able to view 3D models, 2D drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Experience with 3D printing/CAD design for prototyping and proof-of-concept development is an asset.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Some travel to customer sites and trade shows.

  • Manage program scope, technical requirements, and timelines, including leading order kickoff for customer orders.
  • Ensure necessary order information is obtained from customers.
  • Attend design reviews and ensure scope compliance.
  • Follow through with customer complaints to successful resolution until system buy-off.
  • Manage milestones and updates, and follow projects and orders through to completion.
  • Develop and maintain Gantt charts and master scheduling across concurrent automation programs.
  • Manage custom and spare part orders, coordinating with engineering, supply chain, and customers.
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of Product Standards to support consistency and continuous improvement.

Salary Range: $68,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

StackTeck supplies a wide range of injection molds and IML automation used to produce plastic parts in applications such as caps, closures, medical, PET preforms, and thinwall packaging; as well as complete system integrations including IML.


Working in a team of designers/engineers/service technicians, the Program Manager will play a critical role in technical sales, customer relationship management and project management in the realm of custom automated machinery. The role requires direct interaction with Customers, Sales and Operations Teams to deliver and manage orders for the business. Major Responsibilities:


  • Manage program scope, technical requirements, and timelines, including leading order kickoff for customer orders.

  • Ensure necessary order information is obtained from customers.

  • Attend design reviews and ensure scope compliance.

  • Follow through with customer complaints to successful resolution until system buy-off.

  • Manage milestones and updates, and follow projects and orders through to completion.

  • Develop and maintain Gantt charts and master scheduling across concurrent automation programs to keep engineering, build, and customer milestones aligned.

  • Manage custom and spare part orders, coordinating with engineering, supply chain, and customers to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.

  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of Product Standards to support consistency, repeatability, and continuous improvement across automation programs.

  • Design and produce 3D printed parts to support the creation of working proof-of-concept demonstrations for customers.

  • Support bilingual (English/Spanish) communication with customers, partners, and suppliers as needed.

  • Back up the Automation Account Managers as required.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE


  • 3+ years’ experience in a Program, Project, or Customer Service B2B environment role – preference given to candidates with experience in systems integration, industrial automated equipment, and/or industrial automated cells.

  • Post-secondary education – completion of College or University in Mechatronics, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven knowledge of, and familiarity with, mechatronics, industrial automation, and control systems.

  • Proficient with Solidworks software.

  • Strong communication and computer skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software, including Gantt chart and master scheduling tools (e\u0027.g., MS Project or equivalent)).

  • Able to view 3D models, 2D drawings, and electrical schematics.

  • Experience with 3D printing/CAD design for prototyping and proof-of-concept development is an asset.

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.

  • Some travel will be required, including customer sites and industry trade shows.

The expected salary range for this role is $68,000 to $90,000 annually.


Individual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, job-related factors, and shift worked.
