Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial automation projects from kickoff to customer acceptance, spanning single-robot cells to multi-robot assembly and welding systems. You will own scope, schedule, budget, and quality while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in automation and integration.
• Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with PLC/robot programming, tooling design and controls integration (literacy required, hands-on not required).
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an asset.
• G2/G class driver’s license.

• Manage multiple automation projects of varying size and complexity simultaneously.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and cost tracking.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across mechanical design, controls, tooling, manufacturing, and installation.
• Track budgets, labour hours, and material costs; identify and mitigate risks.
• Ensure projects meet contractual requirements, safety standards, and customer expectations.

This role is focused on owning projects from kickoff through customer acceptance, delivering on scope, schedule, budget, and quality while building strong, long-term customer relationships.
