Job Overview:
- Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Project Manager to join our remote team.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large healthcare transformation projects, leading cross-functional teams, and driving successful change initiatives.
- You will be responsible for overseeing project planning, managing budgets, liaising with clinical stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects within the healthcare sector.
- This role is perfect for an individual with expertise in healthcare system analysis, EMR implementations, and process redesign.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, manage project budgets, and lead multi-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee changes to healthcare services, including liaising with clinical stakeholders and obtaining senior leadership feedback and approval.
- Lead teams in healthcare system analysis and redesign initiatives, focusing on surgical process flows, intake, and governance.
- Implement, upgrade, and optimize Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and electronic ordering functionalities.
- The Project Manager manages large-scale transformational projects, including organizational and service redesign, ensuring effective deployment and transition to operations.
- Implement and manage electronic lab or medical results reporting solutions, including system integration.
- Ensure change management processes are followed, including the development of strategies for stakeholder engagement, training, and support.
- Provide regular updates and status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders, addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) (Proof of degree required).
- ProSci Change Management Certification (Proof of certification required).
Required Education:
- Valid Certification in Project Management (Proof of certification required).
- Valid Certification in Program Management (Proof of certification required).
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in a project management role, including developing project plans, managing budgets, and leading multi-functional teams. Please provide at least 3 examples (including project duration) totaling 10+ years.
- 8+ years of experience managing changes to healthcare services, including creating project plans and liaising with clinical stakeholders. At least 2 examples should include reviewing changes with senior leadership for feedback and approval. Please provide at least 3 examples (including project duration) totaling 8+ years.
- 3+ years of experience leading a team in healthcare system analysis and redesign, including surgical process flows, intake, and governance. The initiatives should involve overseeing process measurement activities and formulating and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders. Please provide at least 1 example (including project duration) totaling 3+ years.
- 3+ years of experience implementing, upgrading, or operating Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and electronic ordering functionality. Please provide at least 1 example (including project duration) totaling 3+ years.
- 5+ years of experience implementing large transformational projects, including organizational and service redesign. Please provide at least 2 examples (including project duration) totaling 5+ years. Be sure to specify the organizational or service redesign component.
- 1+ year of experience implementing, upgrading, or operating electronic lab or medical results reporting solutions in a healthcare environment.
