Job summary

Synechron seeks a Project Manager to lead technology projects in Toronto from initiation through delivery. You will define objectives, build plans, manage budgets and risks, and coordinate cross-functional teams across technology and business functions.

Applicants should have experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments, plus strong communication and stakeholder management. Certifications like PMP/PRINCE2 are preferred; Jira, Confluence, and MS Project familiarity is a plus.

Our challenge

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead technology projects from initiation through delivery. The successful candidate will manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, governance, and stakeholder communications across cross-functional teams.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $110k – CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing complex technology projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project-management methodologies and delivery frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
  • Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and dependency tracking.
  • Preferred, but not required: Experience in banking, capital markets, or other regulated industries.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or comparable certification.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Experience delivering cloud, data, application, infrastructure, or regulatory initiatives.
