Position Description
Position Summary
The Project Manager uses a disciplined approach to plan, execute and finalize medium-risk and moderately complex projects, mostly departmental, but also enterprise-wide projects or Ministry initiatives in accordance with strict deadlines, budget and meeting scope and quality expectations. The successful candidate will comply and work in conjunction with the Mission, Vision and Core Values of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, which fosters a collaborative culture of patient, family and staff safety and satisfaction.
Responsible for developing ICT solution options to meet hospital plans and challenges the role is responsible for ensuring the appropriate team is assembled to execute those solutions successfully. The successful candidate will provide leadership and coordinates the work of Project Analysts and monitors and manages the cost, risk, schedule, governance, technical performance, and program impact of each of their assignment projects. Responsible for quality control, communication and change management for the projects and ensure all major milestones are met.
Manages the scope of the projects, escalate risks and issues and seek their resolution as required and is accountable for the outcome, benefit realization, and the ultimate success of the projects to which he/she is assigned.
