About the Opportunity
We are partnering with an established and forward-thinking general contractor known for delivering high-quality commercial interior spaces across the GTA. This organization is well-respected for its collaborative environment, innovative approach to construction, and a strong pipeline of projects in corporate office, retail, and other interior commercial sectors.
They are seeking a Project Manager with a specialization in interiors to oversee end-to-end project delivery—from pre-construction through closeout—within a hybrid work model that blends office, site, and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple interior construction projects ranging in size and complexity, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead the full project lifecycle including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, site logistics, risk management, and client communication.
- Collaborate with in-house teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to deliver seamless project execution.
- Review and manage all contract documents, scopes of work, and change orders.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
- Participate in site visits and inspections as required, maintaining a proactive presence throughout construction.
- Forecast and manage project financials, reporting regularly to stakeholders and internal leadership.
- Foster a strong relationship with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial interior construction, ideally in the GTA market.
- Proven experience delivering high-end tenant improvement or corporate office build-outs.
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP certification or relevant post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or related fields is an asset.
