Job summary

WINMAR Estevan is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to coordinate emergency restoration projects in Estevan. You will respond to emergencies on a 24-hour on-call basis, manage scopes, estimates, crews, and ensure work meets codes and company standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of project management experience in restoration and proficiency with Xactimate, plus strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Project Manager in the restoration industry.
• Any IICRC certification is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and manage on-call routines.

Responsibilities

• Initial customer contact within 30 minutes and first visit within 24 hours.
• Dispatch emergency crews as needed.
• Establish scope and standards of construction.
• Estimate equipment, manpower, cost and materials using industry software (Xactimate).
• Prioritize jobs based on general guidelines.
• Inspect buildings to determine work required to meet codes and standards.
• Ensure all company protocol is followed.

Project Manager - Estevan

National Franchise Property Restoration Company is expanding and looking for energetic and self-motivated employees to join our team. WINMAR provides emergency and reconstruction services to homes, businesses, industrial and institutional properties after they have been damaged by fire, water, sewage, mould, asbestos, vehicle impacts, etc.

You will be required to respond to emergencies on a 24 hour on call basis on a rotation schedule. Experience in project management is essential.

General Responsibilities

• Initial customer contact within 30 minutes of and first customer visit within 24 hours.
• Dispatch emergency crews.
• Establish scope and standards of construction.
• Estimate equipment, manpower, cost and materials required using industry approved software (ie Xactimate).
• Establishment of job priority based on general guidelines.
• Inspects buildings to determine work needed to maintain buildings to code and desired standards.
• Ensure all company protocol is followed.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• Able to interact, and effectively communicate (written and oral)
• Proficiency in the use of common computer software packages
• Proficient in Xactimate.
• Knowledge of building construction, materials and methods and codes
• Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Project manager in the Restoration industry
• Any Certification with the IICRC is an asset.
