Job summary

PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking a Project Management/Technology Student in Oakville, Ontario. This 8- to 16-month co-op opportunity offers hands-on work on solar projects, learning through mentorship, and exposure to PM4+ and Power BI tools.

You will contribute to project design, procurement, analytics, and stakeholder coordination while earning competitive weekly pay and access to health benefits and EAP support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitors and reviews project data and prepares analytics tools to analyze performance on solar projects.
• Reports irregularities in data to commissioning and field staff; monitors trends in project performance.
• Establishes new systems and processes to improve analytics tools.
• Coordinates and manages project design and procurement processes; takes detailed meeting minutes and follows up on open items.
• Reviews RFP documentation, drawings/diagrams, commissioning plan and electrical studies for key design requirements.
• Facilitates communication between all project stakeholders using PM4+ to send RFIs and submittals.
• Ensures project compliance and quality through site O&Ms and warranty item tracking.
• Converts Excel inspection test plans into PM4+ ITP templates.
• Develops and maintains Power BI Synoptics dashboards for projects.

We are seeking anEngineeringStudent,for ourSolar Districtthatis available for 8-16 months starting January 2027.

As anEngineeringStudent and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

• Streamlining project processes by converting excel inspection test plans into PM4+ ITP templates.
• Supporting project success by developing and maintaining Power BI Synoptics design dashboards for projects.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Developing and maintaining strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including AutoCAD, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (Excel)
• Familiarity with PM4+ and Power BI is a plus

The estimated salary range for this role is $21.37 - $31.34, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
