Location – Mississauga, ON

Reporting to the Logistics Manager C1 & Quinshan Projects, the Project Logistics Coordinator is responsible for executing all transactions, logistics information and update including data entry in Candu procurement system and carry on all general administrative tasks related to the logistics, transportation and shipping activities of a given international project. This role is an individual contributor to the project and an entry level role that support all logistics teams to ensure the smooth operation of logistics activities, maintaining accurate records, help in the preparation of shipping documents and providing non-subject matter expert support to the logistics function.

Your Role Within The Team

  • Manages basic logistics transactions/document preparation activities as assigned by the project logistics manager/lead.
  • Maintains accurate record keeping associated with all projects related transportation activities, including each shipment shipping documents (bills of lading, customs documentation, and delivery confirmations) and logistics services providers billing & invoice backups, and shipment tracking and status reports.
  • Accurately input and update logistics data in the Candu procurement to pay system logistics and shipping module , ensuring all records are current and correct.
  • Support daily coordination and communication activities with Candu Purchasing, Order Administrators, Quality Assurance and Client’s Logistics organization personnel and freight forwarding services providers when and as required.
  • Provide general administrative support to the logistics team, including scheduling, document preparation, and communication.
  • Generate and maintain reports on logistics activities including shipment status.
  • Support the validation and verification process for all logistics sub-contractor invoices for accuracy and submission of correct and required supporting documentation acting at the first gate to confirm invoice submission according to services contract requirements. Escalates issues as needed.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to logistics transactions or logistics /shipping document to the extent of his delegated responsibility.
