Job summary

Reliance Impact Inc. in the Greater Edmonton Area is seeking an Estimator to join the ICI Construction division.

The role focuses on preparing cost estimates for interior fit-out and new build construction projects, providing the foundation for successful project planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of estimating experience in construction, strong interpretation of drawings and specifications, and excellent communication with project management and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years in a construction estimating role with a focus on new build projects.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for interior fit-outs and new build construction projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to refine project scopes and budgets.
• Analyze bid documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to optimize cost efficiency.
• Support the bidding process and participate in pre-construction meetings as needed.
