Job summary

Desjardins in Toronto seeks an Analyst, Infrastructure & Energy Transition to support financing mandates and project activities with a focus on North American infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.

You will assist in transaction execution, portfolio management, and financial modelling, while engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and ESG advisory skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or related field.
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in infrastructure and energy transition sectors.
  • Experience in capital markets and/or project finance.
  • Professional designations such as CFA, CPA or CAIA.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Advanced knowledge of credit analysis and capital markets.
  • Solid understanding of financial structuring and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in execution of financing mandates and project activities with strategic impact.
  • Support portfolio managers and business development in infra and renewables in North America.
  • Build and manipulate financial models for project finance transactions.
  • Participate in due diligence, credit presentations and credit applications.
  • Interact with risk management, corporate finance and external stakeholders.
  • Develop ESG-related recommendations and ad hoc management reports.
