You’re a collaboration champion, who thrives in a dynamic matrix organizational structure. You take ownership of the company’s priorities and initiatives, bringing them to life within your project teams. You’re committed to continuous improvement and actively seek out innovative ways to take our operations to new heights.

As a key member of our team, you play a pivotal role in making a lasting impact on the communities we serve. Our team delivers projects that improve the quality of life in communities across Canada by providing access to essential services such as housing, education, and healthcare.

Our approach goes beyond the project to the people – who are the heart of it all.

  • Act as sector expert, or subject matter expert resource for Clients, Project Leads, Project Specialists, and Designated Project Managers delivering services in the water and wastewater treatment sector.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, other business leaders, and external partners with a strong orientation towards technical delivery.
  • Manage multiple project teams to provide service delivery on complex projects and programs in alignment with client satisfaction, quality, and financial success criteria.
  • Oversee, support, and coach the professional development of practitioners on your project teams.
  • Build a strong national presence in the water and wastewater treatment sector, keeping abreast of trends and challenges relevant to the industry and to Colliers Project Leaders’ services.
  • Secure, lead, and grow a book of business aligned with fee income targets.
  • Act as Account Manager to grow key strategic accounts in your sector.
  • Implement a culture of quality and application of Quality Management System standards on your projects in alignment with client expectations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Professional Practice Best Practices and Standards of Practice.
  • Inspire a culture of delegation and empowerment through the implementation of our workforce composition model.
  • Promote domain expertise nationally through thought leadership and conference speaking to establish Colliers as best in class.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a practitioner including large multi-year projects and programs of work in the water and wastewater treatment sector, having developed a sector specialization recognized by the industry.
  • Professional industry credentials relevant and specific to the sector are considered a strong asset.
  • An established network of industry contacts and relationships in the water and wastewater treatment sector as well as involvement with applicable regional industry and trade associations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills including a proven ability to write winning proposals and win competitive interviews.
  • The ability to project and maintain a positive outlook and demonstrate an energetic disposition.
  • Willingness to travel as required across Canada.
