You’re a seasoned Project Director with over 10 years of experience working on complex industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. You will develop and execute project plans and schedules, ensure the highest safety and quality standards for ICI operations projects. You have a proven track record in managing meetings, budgets, schedules, and scope for demanding projects and clients.

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Leadership in Safety and Environment: Demonstrates leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project. Applies the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to promote compliance with Ledcor HS&E standards, applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes among all employees and subcontractors.
  2. Quality Program: Creates and facilitates the Project Quality Program to ensure project materials are supplied and work is completed according to standards.
  3. Construction Standards: Ensures projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and building codes, maintaining quality standards.
  4. Scheduling: Develops and maintains the construction schedule to meet milestones and deadlines.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Leads project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support project progression.
  6. Team Leadership: Provides strong leadership to construction teams, leveraging individual and group strengths to meet project targets.
  7. Risk and Opportunity Management: Identifies and manages opportunities and risks to optimize schedule and financial outcomes.
  8. Financial Management: Tracks and reports all financial aspects, including forecasts and billings.
  9. Procurement: Manages procurement processes, including negotiations and awards with subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
Qualifications
  1. 10+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager on complex commercial, industrial projects; experience with hospitals, aircraft hangars, and aviation warehousing is preferred.
  2. Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related field is an asset.
  3. Experience managing construction projects valued at $100M+.
  4. Deep knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, costs, budgets, and practices.
  5. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and interpretation.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and solution development.
  7. Ability to anticipate constructability issues and develop solutions.
  8. Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence.
  9. Proven team-building and leadership skills, including coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
  10. Valid driver’s license required.
