Ledcor Group of Companies in Edmonton is seeking a strategic Project Director to provide executive leadership across heavy civil construction programs. You will oversee multiple projects, drive performance in safety, quality, schedule and cost, and align delivery with corporate goals.

You will lead senior project teams, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and guide risk management, governance, and contract negotiation.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or infrastructure delivery.
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Extensive experience managing large, complex construction programs.
  • Proven leadership experience at a senior or executive level.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with project controls and forecasting.
  • Deep understanding of construction execution strategies and contract models.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Primavera (P6), project controls systems, and reporting tools.

  • Lead senior project teams and mentor Project Managers and field leaders.

  • Forecast portfolio performance and provide regular executive reporting.

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Project Director to provide executive-level leadership across our heavy civil construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects or large-scale programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving overall performance in safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
