Advance Wire Products Ltd. in Surrey is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee project execution across manufacturing.

You will drive on-time delivery, manage scope and budget, and coordinate with Sales, Production and Operations to ensure successful project outcomes. Ideal candidates have a business/operations background with 3+ years in project coordination, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in business or operations with relevant project coordination experience.
  • Project management certification is an asset and improves coordination ability.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and common MS Office tools.
  • Strong written and oral communication with cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Takes awarded projects and ensures items and COs are entered in Infor for production.
  • Ensures projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and within scope.
  • Tracks project performance and expenditures; reports variances to management.
  • Defines scope/objectives with stakeholders; supports resource planning and allocation.
  • Translates requirements into tasks, schedules, and assigns work.
  • Communicates scope, schedule, and cost changes to management.
  • Maintains project documentation and closes projects with operations.
  • Performs other related tasks and projects as required.

We are growing and are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Surrey.

Our team combines in-depth research with front-line retail experience to anticipate and meet the needs of our clients and their business practices. This role oversees a variety of projects, monitoring progress, reporting variances and acting as liaison among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Takes awarded projects from the Sales team and begins the process of ensuring Items and
    COs are entered in Infor for production processing and tracking;
  • Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and within scope.
  • Tracks and analyzes projects’ performance and expenditures and reports variances to management.
  • Assists in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Works with resource management on resource planning, availability and allocation for projects.
  • Translates project requirements into tasks, schedules and assigns tasks.
  • Communicates to management changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
  • Tracks and analyzes project performance, cost performance, schedule and reports result to management. Makes recommendations for action.
  • Reports and escalates to management as needed.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
  • Closes project and documentation, passes project deliverables to operations.
  • Carries out other related tasks and projects as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in business or operations. Project Management certification is an asset
  • Experience: At least 3 years project coordination preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Strategic thinking/planning ability with a demonstrated track record in problem solving as well as seeking and creating solutions to challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders and staff
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and thrive in a changing, growing environment
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong working relationships internally/externally
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
