Job summary

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Project Coordinator in Toronto for a hybrid work arrangement. You will support the Project Manager, help establish governance, manage information flow, and maintain client relationships.

  • Experience in project controls or administration (3+ years).
  • BA/BS in Business, Construction, Architecture, or related field; relevant work experience can substitute.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite, especially Excel.
  • Corporate Interiors and Tenant Improvement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the project is managed to quality standards and delivered on time.
  • Assist with establishing effective project governance, processes and systems across the project.
  • Ensure key information is shared and retained appropriately.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the client and team members.
  • Interface with stakeholders including executives, project team members, consultants and vendors.
  • Assist with flow of project information between team members and stakeholders.
  • Attend meetings, update and maintain issues/actions logs.
  • Develop detailed project plans and track status with team follow-ups.
  • Contribute to monthly reporting on the Client's program.
  • Prepare reports for multiple audiences including dashboards and management reports.
  • Assist with proposals for new or existing projects.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role.

Job Description

As a Project Coordinatoryou will be involved in;

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the project is managed to the right quality standards and completed efficiently and on time.

  • Assistwith the preparation of proposals for new projects or variations to existing projects.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in aProject Coordination or administrative role within the construction industry is preferred.
  • BA/BS in Business, Construction, Architecture, or a related field. Relevant work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of (3) year’s professional experience in project controls or administration.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
  • A problem-solving mindset.
  • Expert in Microsoft and Google Suite of software products; especially Excel
  • Corporate Interiors and Tenant Improvement experience is a plus.

The base salary range for the full-time Project Coordinator role is $60,000 - $85,000.Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
