The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.
Starting Salary Range: $57,6160 - $71,450
The Project Coordinator, Physician Advocacy supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of advocacy initiatives that impact physicians across British Columbia. Reporting to the Manager, Physician Advocacy, this role provides project and administrative coordination for committees, working groups, and physician stakeholders, helping to ensure meetings, projects, communications, and key deliverables are organized and completed on schedule. The Project Coordinator develops and maintains project documentation and tracking systems, coordinates meetings, prepares agendas and supporting materials, captures minutes, monitors timelines and action items, and follows up with stakeholders as required. The role also prepares presentations, summaries, and reports and supports issue management by conducting research, tracking matters related to various advocacy files, drafting correspondence, and coordinating timely communication with physician members and internal partners.
In addition, the Project Coordinator supports the development and delivery of internal and external communications, including newsletters, reports, presentations, and other materials, in collaboration with the Communications team and relevant stakeholders. The role provides coordination support to physician Sections and Societies by maintaining membership information, supporting governance processes, coordinating documentation, and responding to new applications and ongoing requests. Through regular interaction with internal teams, physician leaders, and external partners, the Project Coordinator supports effective information sharing, strong working relationships, and alignment across initiatives. This position requires strong project coordination, organization, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and provide reliable support across the Physician Advocacy portfolio.
