Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Project Coordinator for its Civil & Infrastructure teams in Canada. You will manage multiple activities and schedules, communicating with clients, teams and stakeholders on large-scale projects from $1.5M to over $1B to ensure resources and timelines stay aligned.

You bring 1–3 years of construction experience, a University degree or tech diploma in Engineering, and a passion for standout client service.

• 1–3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
• A passion for providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team with coordination and administrative support.
• Review and update construction schedules and ensure clear communication among stakeholders.
• Maintain shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notices and completion documents.
• Review, collect and analyze project quotes to seek out the best prices in the market.
• Own the collection and completion of project reports for assigned projects.
• Promote safety standards and HS&E programs with all employees and trade partners on-site.

As a Project Coordinator within Pomerleau’s Civil & Infrastructure teams, you will play a key role at the heart of our Structures. You will manage multiple activities and schedules to gain a clearer understanding of the client’s, team’s, and project’s needs. Working on large-scale construction projects—ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion—you will be crucial in communicating with stakeholders, ensuring resource availability, and overseeing various administrative tasks.

What you will do

• Assist the project team with your keen eye for detail in providing project coordination and administrative support.


• Utilize your passion for client services in ensuring open lines of communication when it comes to our team members, trade partners, consultants and clients. Diligently review, interpret and update our construction schedules.


• Utilize your passion for organization through the successful maintenance, review and follow-up of shop drawings, RFI’s, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents.


• Meticulously review, collect and analyze project quotes, seeking out the best prices in the market.


• Own the collection and completion of companywide project reports for your assigned projects.


• Be a role model for the application project specific safety standards helping to promote Pomerleau’s HS&E programs, applicable OH&S acts, regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on-site.
