Position: Project Coordinator, Electrical Construction

Responsibilities:

  1. Support Project Managers and Site Supervisors in developing and maintaining the project schedule to ensure targets are met.
  2. Maintain and update document control logs, and follow project management procedures including change orders, as-built drawings, and project close-out documents.
  3. Provide status updates on work in progress, assist with project forecasting, cost control, and contribute to Plan Group's T.I.M.E. efficiency program.
  4. Coordinate equipment and material deliveries, and oversee sub-trades.
  5. Participate in site meetings and document minutes.
  6. Keep records of materials used and project progress in line with company guidelines.
  7. Proactively identify potential problems or schedule delays and bring them to management's attention.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience; trade experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project; experience with scheduling software like Primavera is an asset.
  • Experience analyzing mechanical construction drawings and working on commercial projects.
