Modern Niagara Ottawa is seeking an Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team. We look for motivated, versatile, technically inclined coordinators who enjoy diverse tasks, learn quickly, and want to contribute to a growing company. This position is based in Ottawa, either in-office or at a job site, requiring Top Secret Clearance. We offer creative challenges to develop new skills and experiences.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide administrative support to Project Managers, teams, and site superintendents.
2. Assist in organizing and distributing project documents, drawings, and communications.
3. Manage data entries such as purchase orders, change orders, and project schedules.
4. Create and track project communications and documentation.
5. Prepare project start-up binders and control site paperwork.
6. Participate in operational meetings and perform related duties as required.

Qualifications:

1. Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
2. At least 2 years of experience in electrical project coordination, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, or solar.
3. Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
4. Experience in the construction industry, especially fieldwork, is a plus.
5. Comfort working on construction sites.
6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software (Procore, BlueBeam) is an asset.
7. Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships.
8. Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Resourceful, energetic, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
