Your role: As a Power Technician, you will provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment to ensure the safety, availability, and reliability of the Power Supply and Distribution (PS&D) System, including power substations, UPS, cabling, OCS, and Tunnel Lighting. This role supports a 7-day rail operation with rotating shifts, performing maintenance activities in accordance with health and safety policies.

Compensation: The hourly rate starts at $34.48 and increases to $38.96 after a 9-month probation period.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with EHSS policies and rules.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting on traction power systems (1500V and above).
• Monitor systems, circuit breakers, and other TPS components.
• Accurately report activities in the Maintenance Management database.
• Implement field modifications.

Expectations:

• Recommend and implement safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance procedures.
• Supervise power isolation processes for the rail system team and third parties.
• Participate in safety meetings and emergency preparedness activities.

Candidate Profile:

• Educational background in electrical engineering or electrician training, with relevant experience.
• Experience with underground/high voltage systems or lineman work preferred.
• EHS champion and field expert.
• Strong problem-solving and computer skills.
