Key Information:

  • Must have a Civil or Construction Engineering diploma or degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to work on projects in various preconstruction stages, progressing them to construction readiness.
  • Hours: Based on a 44-hour work week; overtime required during busy seasons.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Hourly rate depends on experience.

Job Description:

  • Work on projects in various preconstruction stages, including design-build, project development, and major pursuits, to prepare them for construction.
  • Set up and maintain project administration.
  • Complete daily activity reports.
  • Assist in procurement, costing, and estimating.
  • Manage scheduling and quality control.
  • Conduct technical reviews, constructability assessments, and resolve conflicts. Generate technical submittals.
  • Implement safety and loss control programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project deliverables, including technical writing and presentation materials.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering with 12 years of civil construction experience or equivalent.
  • Strong background in heavy civil earthworks, road building, and underground utilities.
  • Travel required; valid driver’s license necessary.
  • Driver’s abstract required within 30 days of employment start.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation needed.
  • Proficient in English.

Education: Civil or Construction Engineering diploma or degree or equivalent.
