Position Summary


Thales is looking for a Project Coordinator responsible for coordinating a range of project activities on behalf of the Project Manager. The Project Coordinator shall ensure that day-to-day activities affecting the project are carried out effectively.


The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager and coordinates internal (Control Account Managers, Work Package Managers, etc.) and external (Customer, suppliers, sub-contractors, partners) teams by involving relevant stakeholders such as finance, contract management, etc.


The Project Coordinator also supports the Project Manager in directing project activities to achieve completion regarding technical, industrial, financial, and customer satisfaction aspects. Activities include risk and opportunity management, change management, action items, project closure, lessons learned, and resource estimation.


Within the LC4ISR program, the Project Coordinator will support financial reviews/reporting, deliverables support, invoice and billing coordination, data gathering, scheduling, P&PE documentation, and supporting new tools and process implementation.


Key Areas of Responsibility


Duties, at the discretion of the Project and/or PMO Manager, may include:


  1. Serving as the main contact between Finance and project leadership, reviewing and tracking invoices, and supporting billing processes.
  2. Reviewing outgoing invoices to the prime contractor, ensuring traceability, and supporting project dashboards and P&PE materials.
  3. Supporting new systems and processes, planning, scheduling, and resource allocations.
  4. Developing positive relationships with all stakeholders, assisting in resource, equipment, and facilities management.
  5. Tracking project costs, budgets, variances, and attending meetings with prepared agendas and minutes.
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting project activities like risk and change management, and resource estimations.

Minimum Qualifications


The successful candidate will have:


  • Office or Business Administration diploma or equivalent.
  • Five to seven years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
