Job summary

Rexel is seeking a Project Coordinator in Ottawa West to oversee day-to-day project activities and provide administrative support to the Project Management team. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role focuses on order upkeep, tracking, and cross-functional coordination with vendors, sales, and customers.

You will manage shop drawings, expedite orders, and ensure accurate final billings while representing the Rexel brand in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years related experience.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience liaising with vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer orders using the Direct Project Management System.
• Handle purchase order entries and track all project orders.
• Expedite orders and reconcile final billings with customer PO's.
• Coordinate between vendors, sales team, management and customers.
• Process shop drawings for approval/record purposes.
• Act as Brand Ambassador to build brand recognition and support sales initiatives.

What You Will Do With Us

As the Project Coordinator based in Ottawa West, you will oversee day-to-day assigned projects providing advice and guidance as required. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will provide a wide range of administrative support to the Project Management team.

• You will maintain customer orders using the Direct Project Management System
• You will handle purchase order entries and maintain order tracking for all project orders.
• Expedite and conduct follow up on orders and reconcile final billings with customer purchase orders
• You will coordinate and interface between our vendors, sales team, management and our customers
• You will process shop drawings for approval/record purposes
• You will be a Brand Ambassador, by building brand recognition while supporting sales initiatives and enhancing customer experiences. You will consistently ensure that our corporate image is reflected.

Who Are You

• You have a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience.
• You are organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• You are able to maintain positive business relationships with suppliers and customers and resolve concerns that may occur.
• You are able to work in a fast-paced environment within time constraints.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is negotiable. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package.
