Job summary

Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. (VanPile) is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to join our North Vancouver team and help manage major marine construction initiatives.

You will support project planning, cost control, and field coordination, working with experienced professionals who build communities along British Columbia’s coast. The role offers hands-on experience in heavy civil and marine projects within a long-standing family-owned company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy construction projects.
• A degree in Engineering or a diploma in Civil Technology.
• Proficiency in cost control, estimating, and planning techniques.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• A proactive mindset and a passion for learning and growing in the marine construction field.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project plans and specifications to support execution.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Support field teams with construction procedures and best practices.
• Track project costing, reporting, and financial performance.
• Establish and maintain project cost codes.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination and documentation.

Salary: $75 - $95k per annum

The actual salary offered to the successful candidate will be determined based on job‑related factors including relevant experience, years of experience, qualifications, internal equity, and Carlson Construction Group’s compensation policy.
