Job summary

Bridgemans Services is seeking a Project Coordinator to ensure quality compliance on marine construction and demolition projects in Kitimat, BC. You will develop and monitor quality programs, conduct inspections, and coordinate with project teams.

On-site role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work in challenging marine environments. A Bachelor’s degree is required; ISO/HSE knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/marine engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience in quality coordination or quality assurance in marine construction or demolition projects.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, and HSE regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work on-site in challenging marine construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems for marine construction and demolition projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and potential risks; recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
• Prepare and maintain accurate quality documentation, reports, and records.
• Support HSE and project managers in implementing quality and safety protocols.
• Monitor and verify materials, equipment, and work processes for compliance with standards.
• Provide training and guidance to project staff on quality procedures and best practices.
