Job summary

A leading construction organization in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Marine Construction Project Manager to lead project teams from inception to completion. The candidate will be responsible for managing project performance, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and developing contracting strategies. With a minimum of 10 years of construction experience, including 5 years in project management, candidates must have a diploma in Civil Technology or a degree in Civil Engineering. We're Looking for Someone Who Can

  • Be accountable for all aspects of a project's performance.
  • Develop and implement contracting strategies and manage project contracts.
  • Ensure strict adherence to and enforcement of health, safety, environment, and quality programs.
  • Prepare and manage project costs, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Oversee and ensure all regulatory and legislative requirements are met.
  • Manage and negotiate pricing on required project materials.
  • Canadian citizenship, or current work authorization.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • A Diploma in Civil Technology or a Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of related construction experience, with at least 5 years in a project management or similar role.
  • Direct knowledge and experience in marine construction, drilling, or pile driving operations.
  • Eligibility for AScT or P.Eng registration in British Columbia.
  • Proficiency with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
  • The ability to travel as required, with the expectation of extensive and prolonged travel at times.
