Description

Actual Title: Project Sr Analyst/Coordinator

This position is responsible for coordinating the project communication and reporting requirements within a Midstream company's Major Projects portfolio. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Project Sr Analyst/Coordinator ensures the quality and timeliness of project reporting.

Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVES:

  • Project Coordination (5+ years) or experience as a Project Manager (1+ years)
  • General Project Controls experience (2+ years)
  • Experience with Oil & Gas projects
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Construction phase project experience
  • Experience supporting Project Directors and Managers across project life cycles
  • Postgraduate degree (engineering, construction, administration) and a general understanding of pipeline and terminal operations
  • Problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning, and leadership skills
  • Motivated self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced team environment

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Develop project updates for Managers and Senior Leadership on cost, schedule, risks, and decisions
  • Support project development activities
  • Monitor progress of critical deliverables and services throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders including Safety, Environment, Lands, ROW, Project Sponsor, Operations, Legal, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Public Affairs, Contractors, and Consultants
  • Provide timely updates on project status and performance
  • Assist in identifying, managing, and communicating risks through stakeholder engagement
  • Coordinate project close-out and turnover
  • Support Project Managers in executing strategies and monitoring contractual transactions
  • Facilitate meetings such as pre-construction, stakeholder updates, and lessons learned sessions
  • Track Change Management processes as required

Scope/Dimensions:

· Operational and capital projects ranging from $1MM to $500MM

· 1-10 projects of varying sizes

· Complex regulatory environment and stakeholder relationships

Contacts (Working Relationships):

· Collaborate with project management and support teams to achieve milestones

· Interface with sponsors, stakeholders, vendors, consultants, contractors, and operations staff

Working Conditions:

· Office environment with some field work required

· Up to 25% travel to facilities and sites

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $52.00/hr.
