Here's how aProject Coordinatorfor our CalgaryDistrict contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Supports the Project Manager and Superintendent in monitoring overall project performance, including cost control, scheduling, safety compliance and quality assurance.
  • Coordinates construction activities and help resolve field technical issues.
  • Performs quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress and reporting.
  • Manages tender packages, defines scopes of work and maintains trade partner relationships.
  • Assists with change management and change order process, including pricing, processing and assessing cost and schedule impact.
  • Manages the RFI (Request for Information), shop drawing and submittal processes to ensure timely communication and documentation.
  • Supports commissioning and project closeout, including documentation and warranty tracking.
  • Identifies and assists in resolving field technical issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of construction industry experience.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, equipment, drawings, specifications, materials, safety, quality and building codes.
  • Ability to apply basic engineering and problem-solving principles to construction challenges and present solutions.
  • Ability to create a comprehensive schedule and administer subcontracts and contract documents.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quick to learn new technologies.
