Job summary

Hargrove, Inc. seeks an experienced Production Stage Manager for project-based assignments across Canada. You will independently run shows, manage run-of-show deliverables, and coordinate with Producers, Technical Directors and venues to ensure flawless execution.

You will oversee rehearsals, cueing, and backstage operations, while maintaining client communications and supporting business development through organized show files and proposals. Travel to multiple market sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years technical and/or experience with basic knowledge of Stage Management and calling a show.
• Knowledge of the audio-visual industry and/or hotel industry.
• High school diploma required and college diploma requested.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Budget creation and proofing requires ability to create formulas and basic writing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Onsite Event Execution: independently execute productions and revise run of show.
• Direct rehearsals and troubleshoot production issues as they arise.
• Call lighting, audio, video and graphics cues at predetermined moments.
• Coordinate speaker and talent entrances/exits and backstage readiness.
• Collaborate with venue and technical teams to exceed client expectations.
• Assist Producers with show files, proposals and pre-production planning.
