Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Production Stage Manager for project-based events across Canadian markets including Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. The role is the client’s primary contact for show flow when a Producer isn’t involved, reporting to the Associate Director of Event Production.

The position requires 3–5 years of stage-management or technical production experience, strong AV knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant technical production or stage-management experience.
• Knowledge of the audiovisual or hotel industry and strong client interaction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• High school diploma required; college diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute assigned productions or support a producer and technical leadership team.
• Maintain, revise and distribute the run of show as installation and rehearsals begin.
• Direct rehearsals; translate client and producer direction into clear instructions for crews.
• Call lighting, audio, video and graphics cues at predetermined moments.
• Coordinate speaker, executive and talent entrances, exits and backstage readiness.
• Collaborate with venue and technical teams to deliver a polished client experience.
