The department of Criminal Justice in the Faculty of Arts is seeking two Project Assistants to support the filming two mock trial videos - one in a conventional criminal court and the other in an Indigenous court. This project will evaluate whether mock trial videos can improve competence and critical awareness for future justice professionals.In addition to filming the videos (which will be done by Media Services), the project includes interviews and survey design with CRJS faculty and students and in-class pre- and post- learning assessments.This project will be guided by the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and grounded in principles of active learning and student-faculty-professional partnerships.Supervision and training will be provided to the Project Assistants to support their academic learning.
This is a flexible position whose work schedule is variable and may include an irregular schedule of not less than three (3) hours per shift and up to thirty-five (35) hours per week.
Salary:$15.45 - $19.44 per hour
