$50,000 - $60,000 a year

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This role will consist of supporting the administration of the projects unit of Telehouse’s business. This unit plans, coordinates and completes major capital projects for Telehouse Canada. More specifically this role will have the following:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the director of Projects and DX to streamline the administration of the projects business unit and provide support to accommodate this.
  • Ensure all project-related documents are current, properly filed, and stored. This includes project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails
  • Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails. Communicate with vendors as necessary to help clarify intent and project scope.
  • Attend meetings as necessary to maintain documentation and inform the projects business unit of project status
  • Use the existing Microsoft Dynamics ERP system to create and manage preapprovals, purchase quotations, purchase orders and associated documents required for project execution.
  • Coordinate with the Sales and Product teams to ensure documentation is complete, coordinated and prepared for project implementation.
  • Coordinate with Service Delivery and Operations teams as necessary to ensure project objectives are met and projects are delivered in accordance with established timelines and scope of work.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Project Administrator or similar role, with a focus on document handling.
  • Experience: Previous work in the construction, project management or engineering industry. This position will have a heavy focus on working with constructors and engineers.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in project management software, and attention to detail.
