Qualifications

  • 2 years of similar project and office administrative experience required.
  • Previous experience in the Geomatics industry is an asset.

  • Track weekly timesheet submission for payroll.
  • Coordinate and track equipment repairs and transfers.
  • Maintain equipment maintenance records and support project managers.

Job description

Phasor Engineering is an industry leader in electrical infrastructure design, installation, and commissioning. Phasor is a part of the Quanta Group, the largest electrical power contractor in North America. Phasor's Geomatics division provides specialized geomatics solutions to many industries and specializes in the electrical infrastructure industry.

Phasor Engineering Inc is currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-orientated Project Administrator to join the Phasor Geomatics team on a full-time basis based in the Calgary or Edmonton location. The successful candidate will provide project support to all levels of staff. The position offers the opportunity to work with a fast-paced group of professionals while providing project support to ensure efficient operation of the field crews and support the work of office staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track weekly timesheet submission to meet payroll deadline
  • Employee expense claim and P-card preparation
  • Coordinate and track equipment repairs and transfers
  • Maintain equipment maintenance records
  • Project based administrative tasks
  • Courier waybill creation and tracking
  • Purchase order creation and receiving
  • Work with project managers and coordinators to ensure field equipment is assigned to correct project and available when required
  • Travel arrangements for field crews
  • Attend meetings as required and compile meeting minutes for distribution
  • Participating in the Phasor safety program and attend all safety meetings
  • Any other duties as required


Skills And Abilities

  • Effective communication skills and English proficiency
  • Good computer skills with knowledge of Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and Lists
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexible with sound work ethic
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task


Qualifications

  • 2 years of similar project and office administrative experience
  • Previous experience working in the Geomatics industry an asset
