We support mechanical contractors, engineers, and building owners with technical sales, application support, and service coordination.
We're looking for a Project Accountant to provide short-term coverage for approximately 6–7 weeks. This role keeps project accounting and day-to-day transaction processing running smoothly during the coverage period, with a strong focus on project-level cost accuracy and support for an ongoing ERP transition.
Project accounting (primary focus): review and reconcile project-related invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments; work with project managers and operations to ensure accurate cost allocation and revenue recognition.
Accounting entries: post day-to-day transactions to the general ledger with accurate coding and supporting documentation; prepare journal entries and supporting schedules for month-end close under the direction of the Financial Controller.
ERP implementation support: participate in the transition to a new accounting/ERP system, including data entry, testing, and adoption of new processes.
Invoicing: process customer invoicing, collections follow-up, and accounts receivable reconciliation.
Reconciliations & audit support: complete bank and credit card reconciliations, and prepayment/accrual schedules for month-end.
