Job summary

EXP, Burnaby, BC, is seeking a Project Accountant to manage project accounting activities including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. You will prepare and review monthly project financial reports, ensure compliance with accounting policies and client contracts, and collaborate with project managers to monitor performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of project accounting or financial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and project cost control.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Deltek or similar).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• CPA designation or working toward CPA is a plus.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this role is between $7 5 K - $ 8 0K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
