Your New Role

As a Project Accountant, you will report to the CFO & Finance Manager and play a vital role in managing project accounting functions. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong data interpretation skills, the ability to enter financial information accurately, and a keen understanding of the bigger picture in project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Open and manage project accounts while overseeing complex billing timelines
• Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders
• Calculate and record project-based revenue and cost of sales
• Investigate and analyze project budget variances
• Provide monthly reports on project progress and financial performance
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Support Project Managers with financial analysis and documentation requests

• Experience in project accounting, ideally within the construction or real estate sector
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring financial data is interpreted and entered correctly
• Proficiency in ERP systems like Jonas or other relevant financial tools
