Responsibilities:

• Track and manage project-related financials, including billing, expenses, and budget performance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project cost reports, ensuring consistency with project goals and contracts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and forecasts.
• Reconcile vendor invoices and coordinate payments in line with project progress.
• Liaise regularly with Project Managers and senior leadership to ensure financial alignment across deliverables.
• Maintain organized records of project documents, contracts, and change orders from a financial perspective.

Skills and Experience:

• Project Accounting Knowledge: Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a construction, consulting, or engineering setting.
• Software Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and accuracy in financial tracking and reporting.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support both finance and project teams.
• Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Enrolment in or completion of CPA designation is an asset.
