Established in August 2009, Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency (CanNor) is the only federal department with an exclusive mandate for the North. Intent of the process
The intent is to staff one (1) position at the PM-04 group and level.A pool of qualified candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions at the same group and level within the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency (CanNor). The pool may be used to staff positions with various linguistic profiles, security requirements, conditions of employment, locations, and tenures, including indeterminate, term, acting, assignment, secondment and deployment.The resulting pool may also be used by other federal organizations to staff similar positions, subject to the approval of the hiring organization.

The incumbent and dependents* must obtain Health Canada medical clearance in accordance with the Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive.
*Includes incumbent’s spouse or common-law partner and child(ren).

Willingness and ability to work overtime on short notice.
Willingness and ability to on occasion, travel for work and/or training.
