Description :

The Program Manager - Electric Drive Systems Components will be responsible for the execution of Electric Drive System programs for a defined set of components. The Program Manager leads cross-functional teams and guarantees all deliverables and targets identified in the approved initiative over the product development lifecycle (timing, cost, performance, quality, etc.). They are also the single point of contact for Product Team members for the scope of work and report directly to the Global Chief Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer, with a matrixed reporting relationship to the Platform Family Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
  1. Manage all aspects of the assigned program to ensure cost, timing, quality, and performance achievement.
  2. Coordinate cross-functional Family teams involved in achieving program targets.
  3. Ensure program budget achievement by identifying efficiencies versus the approved business case.
  4. Apply procedures, best practices, and methodologies according to required standards; lead program documentation creation, monitoring, and updating in line with Global Powertrain (Propulsion Systems) Development Process.
  5. Ensure product readiness for approved launches by defining appropriate timing milestones and leading change review meetings.
  6. Report program status, risks, and issues; manage risk and issue resolution proactively.
  7. Identify program requirements and gather cross-departmental information to facilitate decision-making.
  8. Co-lead proactive risk management tasks with QM and Platform teams, tracking risk status updates.
  9. Support technical reviews and evaluations concerning program targets and milestones.
  10. Support Global Purchasing and Manufacturing strategies.
  11. Lead responses to product/process change bulletins.
  12. Coordinate and implement value optimization and quality improvement activities.
  13. Manage product lifecycle, including supply chain and logistics issues to ensure production continuity.
Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area with 3-5 years of relevant experience, including program management.
  • Strong skills in finance, cross-cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to build credibility, establish rapport, and communicate effectively with customers at multiple levels.
  • Experience with various applications, software methodologies, and system lifecycle management.
  • Willingness to travel to the US for occasional meetings/trainings, approximately 1-2 times per month.
  • Reside in the Windsor area for hybrid work (3 days at ARDC).
