Operating with limited oversight, the Program Manager III builds practical delivery plans, aligns technical and business stakeholders, applies program management and Agile practices, and provides clear visibility into program progress. The role identifies risks, balances competing priorities, manages interdependencies, resolves delivery issues, and escalates when appropriate.

The Program Manager III also contributes to improvements in program execution and team processes by sharing lessons learned, identifying recurring delivery gaps, and helping teams adopt practical, effective ways of working. The role demonstrates strong judgment, productive stakeholder relationships, and reliable ownership of program outcomes.

Why you'll love this role:
  • Join a role with endless opportunities to learn, build, and improve.
  • Drive continuous optimization in a fast-moving, evolving organization.
  • Opportunity to demonstrate increasing ownership, accountability, and proficiency in program management practices.
  • Mentorship and guidance from an experienced PMO leader on complex challenges.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities within Technical Operations.
  • Make a difference at scale, supporting a large employee base where your contributions are highly visible.
  • Help shape the future of the function by identifying gaps, creating solutions, and leading change.
How you'll shape our program management practices:

  • Independently lead medium-to-large cross-functional technical programs from planning through delivery with limited oversight.
  • Translate program objectives into integrated plans, milestones, deliverables, success measures, and clear ownership.
  • Coordinate work across multiple engineering teams and relevant partners in Product, Design, Security, Data, Customer Operations, Go-to-Market, and other functions.
  • Manage schedules, scope, dependencies, risks, resources, quality, readiness, and delivery commitments.
  • Apply an Agile mindset to deliver value iteratively, adapt plans as information changes, and keep teams focused on agreed outcomes.
  • Partner with managers and senior managers on program priorities, trade-offs, readiness, and delivery outcomes.
Cross-Functional Alignment and Influence
  • Build productive relationships across technical teams, business stakeholders, and partner functions.
  • Facilitate program discussions and decisions by clarifying options, trade-offs, risks, and delivery impacts.
  • Create clear communications that summarize program status, progress, decisions, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Coordinate escalation and follow-up to remove barriers and reinforce accountability.
  • Influence without direct authority and maintain shared ownership across program teams and stakeholders.
Risk, Dependency, and Delivery Management
  • Identify and track program risks, cross-team dependencies, resource constraints, technical issues, and readiness concerns.
  • Develop mitigation and contingency actions with accountable owners and target dates.
  • Resolve delivery issues through structured problem-solving, coordinated follow-up, and timely escalation when needed.
  • Maintain an integrated view of scope, schedule, dependencies, quality, readiness, and delivery progress.
  • Drive accountability for commitments while balancing competing priorities and adapting plans to changing conditions.
Governance, Metrics, and Program Reporting
  • Establish and maintain practical program governance, including roles, review cadences, decision tracking, escalation paths, and accountability.
  • Track agreed metrics for program health, delivery progress, quality, readiness, adoption, and outcomes.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative information to identify trends, surface concerns, and recommend corrective action.
  • Provide concise and accurate reporting to managers, senior managers, and program stakeholders.
  • Maintain program documentation and ensure decisions, actions, risks, and dependencies remain visible and current.
Agile Delivery and Process Improvement
  • Apply Agile practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and iterative planning, based on program and team needs.
  • Support regular delivery of customer and business value through transparent plans, incremental roadmaps, dependency management, and review.
  • Reinforce effective team practices related to flow, feedback, planning, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Identify recurring execution gaps and contribute practical improvements to planning, communication, tooling, metrics, and delivery processes.
  • Share lessons learned and useful approaches with teams and other Program Managers.
