Operating independently on most assignments, the Program Manager II builds and maintains practical plans, aligns technical and business stakeholders, applies established program management and Agile practices, and provides clear visibility into progress. The role identifies issues, tracks commitments, supports resolution, and seeks guidance on more complex challenges.

The Program Manager II builds effective stakeholder relationships and demonstrates increasing ownership, accountability, and proficiency in program management practices. The role contributes to team process improvements by documenting lessons learned, recommending practical changes, and consistently delivering quality results.

Why you'll love this role:
  • Join a role with endless opportunities to learn, build, and improve.
  • Drive continuous optimization in a fast-moving, evolving organization.
  • Opportunity to demonstrate increasing ownership, accountability, and proficiency in program management practices.
  • Mentorship and guidance from an experienced PMO leader on complex challenges.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities within Technical Operations.
  • Make a difference at scale, supporting a large employee base where your contributions are highly visible.
  • Help shape the future of the function by identifying gaps, creating solutions, and leading change.
How you’ll shape our software engineering practices:
Program Leadership and Execution
  • Manage moderately complex technical projects and small programs involving multiple teams.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, deliverables, timelines, success measures, and clear ownership.
  • Coordinate work across engineering teams and relevant partners in Product, Design, Security, Data, Customer Operations, Go-to-Market, and other functions.
  • Track scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, resources, quality, readiness, and delivery commitments.
  • Apply established Agile and project delivery practices to support iterative progress and agreed outcomes.
  • Work independently on most assignments and seek guidance when scope, risk, or organizational complexity increases.
Cross-Functional Alignment and Influence
  • Build effective working relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders, and partner functions.
  • Facilitate project meetings, clarify decisions, capture actions, and follow up on commitments.
  • Create clear communications that summarize project status, progress, decisions, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Coordinate follow-up and escalation to help remove blockers and maintain accountability.
  • Support alignment across teams by keeping objectives, roles, timelines, and decisions visible.
Risk, Dependency, and Delivery Management
  • Identify, document, and track project risks, dependencies, resource constraints, technical issues, and readiness concerns.
  • Coordinate mitigation actions with accountable owners and target dates.
  • Support resolution of delivery issues through follow-up, structured problem solving, and timely escalation.
  • Maintain an accurate view of scope, schedule, dependencies, quality, readiness, and delivery progress.
  • Track commitments and raise concerns when agreed objectives or timelines are at risk.
Project Tracking, Metrics, and Reporting
  • Maintain project routines, roles, action tracking, decision logs, and escalation paths using established practices.
  • Track agreed measures for delivery progress, quality, readiness, and outcomes.
  • Use project information to surface concerns, support decisions, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide accurate and timely status reporting to managers and project stakeholders.
  • Keep project documentation, decisions, actions, risks, and dependencies visible and current.
Agile Delivery and Team Practices
  • Use established Agile practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and iterative planning, based on team needs.
  • Support regular delivery through transparent plans, backlog and milestone tracking, dependency management, and review.
  • Reinforce effective team practices related to planning, communication, accountability, feedback, and continuous learning.
  • Identify practical opportunities to improve project planning, communication, tooling, and delivery processes.
  • Document and share useful lessons learned with assigned teams.
Experience we feel will set you up for success:
