Job summary

Qualifications

• Education in humanities/social development with focus on child and youth care.
• Experience in project development and written communication.
• Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
• Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.
• Current Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, and Prior Contact Check required; valid driver’s license may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day needs of program staff and program delivery.
• Serves as a principal liaison between students, instructors, and external constituencies on day-to-day issues.
• Facilitates workshops, meetings, and special projects.
• Monitors program revenues and expenses for cost effectiveness of program.
• Identifies issues and provides feedback on program progression.
• Responsible for reporting to board, partners, and funding bodies within deadlines.
• Maintains relationships with program partners and promotes access to employment opportunities.
• Writes grants and/or proposals appropriate to funding opportunities.
