The Indigenous Youth Mentorship Program (IYMP), Office of V.P (Indigenous), University of Manitoba, invites applications for part-time After-School Program Leader positions commencing September 11, 2026, and ending April 30, 2027. Successful candidates will work up to 15 hours per week. Hourly wage ranges from $16.50 to $18.50 per hour, plus 6% vacation pay.

The After School Program Leader will facilitate engaging recreational, cultural, educational, and leadership activities while fostering positive relationships, supporting daily program operations, and creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children and youth.

The Indigenous Youth Mentorship Program (IYMP) is a community-based program that promotes healthy lifestyles, leadership development, cultural connectedness, and positive relationships among children and youth. Programming is guided by the Circle of Courage values and the Four R's of Indigenous Education: respect, relevance, reciprocity, and responsibility. The successful candidate will be at least 18 years of age, have experience working with children and youth, demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, and be committed to fostering safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environments. First Aid/CPR certification and a valid driver's license are considered assets.
