Job summary

The YMCA of Winnipeg is seeking a Children and Families Program Coordinator to direct and deliver engaging programs for children and families in the community. You will coach and lead staff to ensure a positive, safe, welcoming environment and help grow participation across gymnastics, day camp and family events.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on program delivery experience, a background in supervising teams, and a commitment to excellence in customer service and staff development.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience supervising employees or volunteers
• 2-4 years’ experience in program delivery
• Strong customer service, time management, communication and problem solving/decision making skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and deliver inclusive, engaging programs for children and families
• Instruct and lead a variety of programs including gymnastics, day camp and family events
• Mentor and provide support, coaching and professional development for others
• Monitor staff certifications, create reports and program statistics
• Bi-weekly scheduling and payroll administration
