Sia is seeking a Senior Manager - Capital Markets Program Management to lead complex transformation initiatives for clients across the Capital Markets ecosystem on a 1-year contract.

This program leadership and delivery role requires broad knowledge of Capital Markets, strong program management capabilities, and proven change management, able to engage with senior stakeholders across business, operations, technology, risk and other functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Economics or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in management consulting, Capital Markets, investment banking, or related transformation roles.
  • Proven experience leading large programs in complex financial services environments.
  • Strong Capital Markets knowledge across front office to post-trade and market infrastructure.
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Sia’s Corporate & Investment Banking practice is seeking aSenior Manager - Capital Markets Program Managementto lead complex transformation and change initiatives for clients across the Capital Markets ecosystem.

This is aprogramleadership and delivery rolefor an experienced consulting or financial services professional who understands Capital Markets broadly and can effectively navigate complex business, operational, technology, and organizational environments.

The ideal candidate brings broad knowledge of Capital Markets, strong program management capabilities, proven change management experience, and the ability to engage and negotiate with senior stakeholders across business, operations, technology, risk, and other functions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Complex Programs:Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale Capital Markets transformation programs, including defining programobjectives, workstreams, milestones, dependencies, governance, risks, and delivery plans.

Drive Change Management:Develop and execute change management strategies to support organizational, process, operating model, and technology transformations. Assess business impacts, stakeholder readiness, adoption risks, and organizational dependencies.

Manage Senior Stakeholders:Build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders,facilitateexecutive-level discussions, manage competing priorities, and drive alignment across multiple functions and teams.

Navigate Stakeholder Negotiations:Lead challenging discussions and negotiations across business, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and other stakeholders to resolve conflicts,establishpriorities, and maintain program momentum.

Apply Capital Markets Knowledge:Bring broad working knowledge of Capital Markets and the institutional trade lifecycle, including areas such as front office, trading, middle office, post-trade, operations, risk, technology, settlements, asset servicing, and market infrastructure.

Translate Business Needs into Delivery:Work with clients to translate strategicobjectivesand business requirements into actionable transformation roadmaps, initiatives, workplans, and measurable outcomes.

Program Governance & Reporting:Establishprogram governance structures, steering committees, status reporting, RAID management, KPIs, and escalation mechanisms. Provide clear and concise updates to senior leadership.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management:Proactivelyidentifyand manage program risks, issues, dependencies, and inter-workstream conflicts, escalating appropriately and driving resolution.

Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams:Lead and coordinate teams across business, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and external partners to ensure effective execution of programobjectives.

Support Transformation Strategy:Contribute to operating model design, process improvement, technology transformation, regulatory change, and other strategic initiatives across Capital Markets.

Client Delivery & Relationship Management:Operateas a senior client-facing leader, bringing structure to ambiguous problems, challenging assumptions constructively, and ensuring high-quality delivery.

Team Leadership:Lead, coach, and develop consultants and client team members, providing direction, mentorship, and feedback throughout the engagement.

Business Development:Contribute to proposals, account development, client relationship building, and identification of follow-on opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

8-10 years of relevant experiencein management consulting, Capital Markets, investment banking, financial services, or related transformation/program leadership roles.

Demonstrated experience leadinglarge-scale programs or transformation initiativesin complex financial services environments.

StrongCapital Markets knowledge, with the ability to understand and navigate multiple areas rather than deep specialization in a single domain.

Proven experience inchange management, organizational transformation, and stakeholder engagement.

Strong experience managing senior stakeholders andfacilitatingalignment across business and technology teams.

Demonstrated ability to leadcomplex stakeholder negotiations, resolve conflicts, and influence without direct authority.

Strong program management capabilities, including governance, workstream management, RAID management, dependencies, milestones, and executive reporting.

Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and executive-level relationship management skills.

Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and bringing structure to complex problems.

Strong consulting mindset with the ability to quickly understand new Capital Markets topics, ask the right questions, and adapt to different client environments.

Experience working with financial institutions, including banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, exchanges, market infrastructure providers, or other Capital Markets organizations.

Management consulting experience is strongly preferred.

We are looking for aCapital Markets generalist and transformation leader, rather than a specialist in one product or operational function.

The successful candidate will be someone who can walk into a complex Capital Markets program, quickly understand the business context, bring structure to the problem, align senior stakeholders, manage change, and drive the program through execution.

You do not need to be the deepest expert in settlements, derivatives, payments, trading, or another specific Capital Markets discipline.You do need to understand how Capital Markets businessesoperateand be able to lead the people, change, and deliveryrequiredto transform them.
